free games...

Today was actually pretty fun. In the morning, I watched some TV. Eric called so he came to pick me up after swimming. We went to Serramonte and went to many stores: Daiso, Gamestop, Footlocker, Target, Ross, and Circuit City. At Gamestop there was these deals, buy 2 used games and get 1 free, which ends tomorrow. I saw some people asking about stuff and I saw a sign for trade ins. I can trade in a Gameboy Advance SP and pay $90 for a DS. I have four SPs at home and they were all found by my dad from his work. I was curious so I asked if I can trade in my SPs and they were like "yea", cash or store credit. I was surprised when they told me the price for store credit, $35. I have 4 SPs so that means I can get $140 but I'm missing 3 chargers so $110 most likely. I can spend that $110 and get some more Wii games. I also have a classic DS, that might worth another good $20. After Serramonte, I played Wii with the JERK. Brawled a few rounds and played Mario Kart for a few rounds. Me and Eric won in Mario Kart and I don't remember who won in Brawl, I think it was Kev or Ron, FFA. I also had a haircut. After getting a haircut, I came home and searched to see what games I should get because the buy 2 get 1 free offer ends tomorrow and I need to trade in tomorrow. As final conclusion, I've decided to get Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, Mario Strikers Charged, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, might worth $90. I will have about $30 credit left, and I will wait for other good games to come out. I searched Gamespot.com and Call of Duty: World at War will be coming out 11/11/08. I might get this game with the rest of the credit. I've recently bought 3 games, and will get 4 more, iono what the hell I'm doing but I seem to get so addicted to games now. That might be too many games for me. Only if I knew about the trade ins earlier, so I wouldn't have bought those 3 games. It's all good, those 3 games cost $66, $22 each, and their some of the best Wii games. If I buy the other 4, my Wii games collection will be: Wii Sports, Wii Play, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, No More Heroes, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, Mario Strikers Charged, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and Call of Duty: World at War. Among these games, at least 6 of these games are at all time top ratings for Wii games (8.0 of higher at Gamespot.com). There were crappier games for a cheaper price like Cooking Mama: Cook Off, Summer Sports: Paradise Island, Need for Speed Carbon, and Trauma Center, but I didn't want to get these. Why get bad games, when there are good ones. I don't want the same thing that happened when I bought my PS2 ($300 when it first came out). I didn't buy any of the good games like Grand Theft Auto or Metal Gear Solid. I bought those weak and cheap games for $20. I played them once, and didn't touch it afterwards. How spoiled huh. The only game I might still play is DDR. I know this might seem like I'm fucken spoiled because I just bought 3 games, and going to get 4 more. These games are FREE because remember, I'm trading in SPs that were found by my dad at work. Meaning I don't have to spend a single penny, if I don't exceed the credit limit. I wouldn't be getting these other 4 games if I didn't buy the first 3, but it's alright I guess, they're all pretty good games. I hope these games won't affect my education. As of now, it hasn't. Another funny part is Eric also want hella games for his XBOX 360. He's deciding whether to get Halo Wars or Gears of War 2, and I'm telling him to get Grand Theft Auto 4 because it's rated at 10. He's decided to buy Gears of War 2, I think it's pretty fun too. He better not lose control, and play it day and night. I can control myself, iono about him. He promised to study harder from now on, I will help him earn at least a B in Cal, as long as he comes to me whenever he needs help. That's what friends are for, you know. =)
